Breathe Respite is Here! Come spend a fun filled Saturday afternoon making a difference in the life of a family with special needs children.
Parents of special needs children have a very demanding schedule that rarely includes a few minutes of rest. Breathe Respite is a time where they can bring all the children in the family to us for fun and crafts. During this time, the parent gets to take a break, go on a date or a movie, go shopping, or maybe just sit quietly reading a book. One parent told us during the last respite, she got to take a nap and was so, so happy about that!
At respite, the kids will enjoy lots of different activities like making Valentines gifts for their parents, meeting new friends, watching a movie, and playing ping pong, foosball or Wii, just to name a few.
