Healing Farms is revolutionizing how the community lives and works alongside adults with developmental disabilities.

Imagine... a place for programming, community, and empowerment that is self-funded, sustainable, and inclusive because it is developed intentionally for people with disabilities. Imagine... a place where social enterprise (doing charity by doing trade) is the driving component for it's sustainability. Imagine... a place where the poor and marginalized are empowered to contribute to their own well-being and future security. These 3 pillars are the very foundation for longevity.

Welcome to the exciting new Healing Farms!

Healing Farm Ministries is the programming division of Healing Farms. It is founded on 1 Corinthians 12:21-22 (NIV) that reads, "The eye cannot say to the hand, 'I don't need you!' And the head cannot say to the feet, 'I don't need you!' On the contrary, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable." Everyone has a place and a purpose -- whether in daily work or in long term residential settings.

A Crooked Farm is a fully accessible community farming campus built intentionally to accommodate all abilities. The "crooked" aspect reflects the fact that no one is perfect, but that doesn't limit what's possible. Healing Farm Ministries will host programming on this campus, but they will also be open to the public to encourage understanding and community.

HealingFarms.com will be a highly publicized "affiliate" website offering participants and the general public the opportunity to showcase and market what they produce online in a "farm" themed environment. Funds produced will benefit the artisan as well as Healing Farm Ministries' programs.
